Michael Parks - Captain

Originally from Oklahoma, Michael now considers Alaska home when he's not onboard Beauport.

He has had many challenging positions ranging from captain of research vessels, director/captain for coastal tours in Alaska, to fisherman, land surveyor and boat builder . He brings with him a lot of experience and expertise.

Prior to taking command of Beauport he was Chief of Marine Operations with Ocean Futures, Jean Michelle Cousteau's organization. With Ocean Futures he spent 5 years in Iceland with the team that attempted to re-introduce Keiko, of "Free Willy" fame back into the wild.
